Glacier Watching

First AlpArray Science Meeting | 29-30 August 2018

The 2 days focus will be on the greater Alpine region with the most recent results using the AASN data and collaborations from the research network. The meeting is a unique occasion to increase collaborations, share results, visions and to discover the Alps.

Registation is free of charge. If you wish to participate fill the registration form before 20 of July 2018, so we can organize the meeting at best.

Travel to/from Zurich

Zurich is well connected to other European cities by both rail and air. Several direct trains (including overnight trains) reach the Main Station (Zürich HB) and numerous air companies and Swiss fly directly to Zurich Airport. Please refer to for train schedules, or to air company websites, and organize your travel at your convenience.

From the airport you can: 1) take every train to Zurich HB and the Tram 10 (direction Airport stop ETH/Universitätspital),  or 2) take the Tram 10 (direction Zurich HB, stop ETH/Universitätspital).

From Zurich HB walk to Sonneggstrasse 5, or take the Tram 10 (direction Airport stop ETH/Universitätspital).


Accommodation in Zurich

There are several hotels at similar prices in the city centre which is most practical for accessing the Meeting place and for your travel. Book a suitable accommodation for yourself either from the list or at any other place you would like.
